BRAILLE SIGNAGE

Background:

Presently Aluminium name plates/ vinyl stickers are provided as a means of signage and display of instructions inside the coaches for guidance of passengers. Considering the requirement of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation)Act, 1995, new specification has been developed for signage which integrates the requirement of persons with normal vision & visually impaired persons in one display sticker/ board.

Description:

The braille signage are printed on photosensitive anodised aluminium sheets with embossing of Braille characters. This is aesthetically pleasing for the passengers with normal vision.
