Materials Management - Overview
Integral Coach Factory (ICF) is an ISO 9001 certified organization, manufacturing different types of coaching stock for the Indian Railways, and other customers. The raw materials and components required for the manufacture of coaches is procured by the Materials Management Department, through tenders.
The Department is headed by the Principal Chief Materials Manager (PCMM) and assisted by Chief Materials Managers (CMM), Deputy Chief Materials Managers (Dy.CMM), Senior Materials Managers (SMM) and Assistant Materials Managers (AMM).
Tender notices are published in the English, Hindi and Regional language Newspapers and all tenders of ICF are floated through online portal of www.ireps.gov.in or through GeM portal. In order to participate in e-tenders of IREPS, it is essential for the vendors to register in the website using the following link : www.ireps.gov.in--->New Vendors/Contractors(E Tender). Possession of valid Class-III type of Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) with Company name is a pre-requisite for registration. ICF is conducting e-auction of scrap materials also through IREPS portal.
